Objectives:

  • To develop an informed sense of place and engaged sense of stewardship for rivers and streams in Central Oregon

 

Description:

Students will learn about our local rivers and streams through hands-on educational activities in art, science, writing, and exploration.  Streamside learning activities include macroinvertebrate sampling, water quality testing, riparian surveys, stream habitat studies, native fish lessons, and place-based art and writing.
