Description:

Trout Unlimited’s Stewardship Program generally includes 2 classroom visits and 2 field trips.  The fall classroom and field trip curriculum will be focused on assessing the condition of the ecosystem and how the water, land, and organisms are interacting. Our spring classroom and field trip curriculum will be focused on restoration strategies and methods to improve the conditions of the ecosystem, and includes hands-on service to restore our rivers. Teachers and students will participate in environmental education that uses place-based curriculum and real-world restoration methods. Participants are then better prepared to make their own choices about how they interact with the environment and society.
