Camp Chica featured in Legacy Magazine

The National Association of Interpreters (NAI) is a professional organization dedicated to advancing the profession of natural and cultural heritage interpretation. Camp Chica founder, Veronica Vega was invited to co-author a story for the March/ April 2024 digital issue Women and Femmes in Interpretation.  She wrote about creating a Central Oregon version of Lotería in partnership with The High Desert Museum for an event called Family Fiesta which was held at the museum in November 2023. Family Fiesta is an art performance by Justin Favela who brought it to the museum in tandem with his art installation Vistas del Cielo.
