NGSS Standards: LS1.A:  Different animals use their body parts in different ways to see, hear, grasp objects, protect themselves, move from place to place, and seek, find, and take in food, water and air. 

 

Description:

Our Discovery Classes offer opportunities to dive deeper into exciting content while also incorporating Next Generation Science Standards.  Using a live animal visitor and animals throughout the Museum, students will observe various adaptations that help animals survive. (This program is only available with a live animal visitor on Thursdays).
