Birds Without Borders

Birds Without Borders is a free community event that celebrates birds and connects cultures.  The event is presented by the Children’s Forest of Central Oregon and many community partners.  Bring your family out for a fun day of music, storytelling, art, STEM activities, and birding.

The event will feature:
11:00-11:30 Danza Libelula with Latino Community Association performing Ballet Folklorico
11:45-12:45 Native American flute music with award-winning musician, James Edmund Greeley
1:00-2:00 Storytelling with Wilson Wewa, Northern Paiute tribal member

Plus educational stations including:

  • Bird watching
  • Bird house building
  • Student artwork showcase
  • Dance performance by Latinx youth
  • STEM and art activities
